In Jackson, fall seems to be a mixture of all seasons!
Friday morning...
Friday afternoon...
Considering the fifty-degree increase in temperature, our weekend afternoons just had to be spent hiking!
Here are some pictures from our hikes to Phelps Lake on Friday and Saturday. The well-groomed (and bear-free) trails provided for incredibly peaceful nature walks. The sights, smells, and sounds within Teton National Park reminded me of nature's invaluable trait of being tranquilly luxurious. As you can see from these pictures, Phelps Lake is perfectly surrounded by the breathtaking Tetons.
(We made sure to bring bear spray with us...)
The Grand!
The Rockefeller Center was a lovely tribute to Lawrence Rockefeller, who preserved this park for visitors to enjoy.
We returned to Teton National Park on Saturday, for another visit to Phelps Lake! This time, we hiked a different trail to the lake, and enjoyed it just as much! We were fortunate to have seen more fall colors on this beautiful, bear-free hike! We even spotted a couple of hungry and curious deer!
Experiencing this corner of creation has been nothing short of a blessing.
Thank you for following me on this humbling journey. :)
